Ok. You Need Help?

It starts out real simple. The first thing that you need to do is understand that there are a variety of self-help, legal help, and related subject matter Yahoo Groups. Since you are here at the Dads of Michigan website, you will want to start with this one:

http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/FRC

You will need to join that group as soon as possible. It is a mixture of advocates and people needing self-help. This is by far the largest and best chance at organized help in an online forum. Tell them Lary sent you when you introduce yourself.

Moving past the self-help groups you will want to get involved immediately in solving the total problem. Your case is not the only case, and this is a system design problem. Understand secondly that this is not a gender issue, as Moms' and Dads' Parental Rights are often times abridged improperly in our courts. We want to prevent it from happening on both sides of the fence. We advocate for Parental Rights and substantially equal parenting between split parents, unless there is a clear and convincing reason why a child should not have substantially equal access to their own parents.

Start with the Get Your Justice Live Meet Up Group. It's free to join and we are getting a ton of work done in the group. Just register for free and request to join.

On the front page of this site you will see an Action Team Subscription button. We recommend you join that as soon as possible too. That of course is also free and we are working hard to ensure that everyone has a set role to make advocacy easier.
