Federal Parental Rights Amendment. ~ Telephone calls to each of Michigan's Representatives and Senators. Send each one of them a letter after you have identified if your Representative or Senator is not participating with the Federal Parental Rights Amendment. Ask them specifically what their position is on Representative Hoekstra's Federal Parental Rights Amendment.

Check to see who your Representative and Senator is by going to these two websites and taking note of their contact information:

1. HOUSE.GOV (This will open a new window to look up your REPRESENTATIVE.)

2. SENATE.GOV (This will open a new window to look up your SENATOR.)

Then check to see if they are listed as a sponsor for Congressman Hoekstra's Amendment.

1. PARENTSRIGHTS.US (This will open a new window to look up to see if your official supports.)

If they support the Amendment, then call them and thank them "Thank you for supporting Rep. Hoekstra's Parental Rights Amendment as Co Sponsor."

If they don't support the Amendment, the call them and ask them "What is your position on Congressman Hoekstra's Parental Rights Bill referenced at http://www.parentsrights.us." Give them your contact information and ask for it in writing. Official position and why.
